Cook/ Dietary Aide

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including basic cooking and plating of dishes

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

• Support bussing duties to ensure dining areas are clean and organized

• Help with food handling and storage following safety standards

• Assist with catering and banquet setup as needed

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

• Support team members in delivering excellent food service to guests

• Ensure all work areas are sanitized and organized for efficient operations

Preferred

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments preferred

• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen safety protocols

• Experience with bussing, cleaning, and general kitchen duties is a plus

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude

• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or evenings if required

• Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred

• Prior banquet or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory
